I love film.

Film photography has been coming back lately with more and more people curious about trying it. It can definitely feel intimidating to begin but I promise you will fall in love and forever want to have all of your favorite days captured on film too.

My dad gifted me my first film camera for Christmas when I was 18. A Pentax k1000 with a 50mm lens he picked up at a Seattle thrift shop. I had no idea how to use it, how to shoot in manual, how to load film, where to get it developed and felt excited and slightly overwhelmed.

7 years later and I still only shoot film and am still learning. Still in love. Still excited to take more photos and always slightly frustrated with myself for not shooting more.

Slow down, capture some happy moments, simple daily activities, people you love and have fun with it.
